A lovely park for a walk, with plenty of space to sit and a play area for kids. Make sure you also check out the beautiful terrace of multi-coloured houses on the edge of the park; the Promenade is Grade II listed.

SNEINTON MARKET SQUARE
Just outside the gates of Sneinton Market Avenues is Sneinton Market Square. When not hosting markets or events, the square is extremely popular with the skateboarding community and is internationally renowned in the skateboarding world.

THE KING BILLY
A Sneinton icon, this cosy Victorian gem is a family-run free house that oozes charm and character. it is a haven for real ale drinkers, and there’s a covered outdoor smoking area, and a rooftop terrace. They are home to Carolina’s TexMex.

BACKLIT is a three-storey independent art gallery and studios located in the heart of Nottingham, UK. THE BATH INN
The Bath Inn is on the corner of Bath Street opposite Sneinton Market Square. Its architecture is considered to be a rare example Egyptian revival style architecture, hardly seen anywhere else in Britain.

Sat at the foot of Hockley just over the road from the Avenues. Renowned for its extensive beer selection with 5 cask ales, 10 craft taps, traditional cider and a craft fridge full with beers from around the UK and the world, there is definitely something for everyone.

FABRIC
Fabric is a strategic dance development organisation, created in 2022 by merging Dance4 in Nottingham and DanceXchange in Birmingham. It nurtures talented young performers, choreographers and leaders; runs an extensive outreach and education programme; leads the Midlands Centre for Advanced Training (CAT) programmes; and produces a range of multi-partner community, health and inclusion projects.

Fishergate is a multi-purpose arts venue and co-working space based in an old bus depot on Lower Parliament Street. It’s home to recording studios, a radio station City Beats, meeting spaces and offices for creatives.

METRONOME
Metronome is a national centre for music, moving image, video games, live performance and spoken word. Anchored around a 400-capacity (228 seated) venue, Metronome delivers an ambitious, diverse and contemporary cross-media programme. Beneath the venue is a warren of state-of-the-art studios for use by the students from Confetti College, part of NTU.

SURFACE GALLERY
As a vital resource to the Nottingham arts community, Surface runs successful, well received physical and online exhibitions, encompassing all forms of contemporary art. They are a not-for-profit social enterprise that exists to support early and mid-career artists, largely through professional exhibitions and events, and also residencies. Volunteer-run, co-operative and contemporary, Surface provides an affordable space for artists to exhibit their work.
